User’s mailbox on Exchange Online is stuck in limbo:

This issue should be related to the existence of msExchangeMailboxGuid attribute in the on-prem account. 
 
Please clear the following attributes in ADSIEdit:
msExchGuid
msExchRecipientDisplayType:
msExchRecipientTypeDetails:
msExchRemoteRecipientType:
