I get this message when i try to sign into a domain user account
Windows cannot load the user’s profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.
DETAIL – The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format

The file that is causing the problem, UsrClass.dat, and its found it residing inĀ
C:\Documents and Settings\Current User\Local Settings\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Windows\UsrClass.dat
Rename the file. The file is going to be recreated and this will eliminate the login error the user was getting. When everything is working fine, just delete the old UsrClass.dat file.
